As you know, I love travelling around the world. And what is something everyone needs to do while travelling? Eat of course! For those of you who know me well, you know I can’t cook. Of course it’s a skill I’m trying to work on at home, but in the mean time until I become a master chef, dining out is an experience I love! Considering how much I travel, I’ve decided that I’m going to list all my favourite restaurants I go to world wide. This page will be great for people to use as a reference while travelling, but for those of you who are like me and will be spending their summer in the Niagara and Toronto area, I’ve decided to try something new. I’m not too sure if I’m the only one, but recently I have had this big problem of wanting to go out for nice dinners, and continuously ending up at boring, chain restaurants such as Boston Pizza, and Kelsey’s.
After recently reading a newspaper article from the St.Catharines Standard, I learned that Niagara ranked number 1 for the most romantic cities and regions in Canada, and Toronto ranked 7th. This article opened my eyes considering I live right in the middle of these two places, how silly it is and how much money I am wasting on going to the same chain restaurants I always go to! Instead of being a returning customer at these restaurants that continuously serve mediocre food and leave with nothing more than an average dining experience, I have made a new goal for this summer. This summer, when I’m in Toronto and anywhere in between, I am going to visit restaurants I have never tried before, and while I’m in Niagara, I’m going to visit the restaurants that made the “100 most romantic restaurants list” in Canada. After dining in all these different restaurants, I will be listing the restaurants on here, with their location, my overall opinion of the dining experience and food, and if it’s somewhere you’ll need to make a visit to this summer as well!
If you have ANY restaurant recommendations in the GTA-Niagara area, please send over a message my way! I’m hoping to start my “Court can’t cook! (so might as well make it good)” challenge after I get settled in from my travels which will start the beginning of May. To keep up with my challenge, look for the upcoming blog posts with the titles “Court Can’t Cook!”
I’m really looking forward to this challenge and hoping this will be also be a good guide for people who are experiencing the same problems as me!
